ASEAN DATA SCIENCE EXPLORERS 2019

With a population of over 600 million, Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing regions in the world. Despite this, ASEAN still faces many social, health & environmental challenges that impede its progress.

We invite all ASEAN youths to help shape the future by harnessing data to highlight key issues in ASEAN. Use data analytics to propose solutions that can make a difference to its people.

Join the competition today, if you are an ASEAN National above 16 years of age, and currently studying at a tertiary institution in Southeast Asia.

Keen on social issues but has no experience in data analytics? No problem! The competition is open to all students of any background. All you need is the passion to create better ASEAN.

So, gather a team of 2 and prepare your storyboard on the following themes:
1. Good Health and Well-Being
2. Quality Education
3. Gender Equality
4. Decent Work and Economic Growth
5. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
6. Sustainable Cities and Communities
Participants must be:
Nationals of ASEAN member countries (ie. Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam)
Full-time tertiary students currently pursuing their Diploma or Undergraduate studies in one of the tertiary institutions in Southeast Asia.
Above the age of 16 as at the start of the Contest Period. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain parental consent. The consent form is available upon registration.
